The work performed in this series called Identity is fundamentally iconic and figurative, about the cultural symbols of the environment. The medium chosen for this series contributes to conceptualize further Being authentic bark paper, from the Nahuatl "amatl-leaf tree" crafted with the same ancestral technique 3000 years ago for the realization of prehispanic codices, using mainly acrylic or mixed media, taking special care to enhance feature rich texture of bark. Another element representative and also places it within contemporary art is its chromaticism, also typical in the Mexican culture.

PHILOSOPHY

At almost 40 years, without being a worldly man but having achievements in many aspects of my life, I feel I'm missing something, somewhere I read that you should use the talent you were born, I knew since childhood he was drawing, through architecture and use it, but I get tired of the technical details, care masons, it was not what I imagined, reading magazines such as American Artist and Southwest Art and internet, I realize that many professionals in graphic design, advertising, architecture, some even being self-taught after years and sometimes decades of professional life began to paint, which was something I always wanted to do, making even a change in your life with to paint full time.

No I wanted to wait to do what I always wanted to inspire me wealth and pictorial tradition of Mexico, the colors of the native artists such as Oaxaca, and the availability of internet use and online galleries to display my work.

While the paint is considered dead for decades, and many people considered obsolete brushes exist today the computer drawing tablets for digital painting, I consider not replacing them, for me is like trying to disappear instruments classical music for electronic synthesizers, it is not the same. Worldwide there are Great Painters Associations impressionism, expressionism, pastel, watercolor, etc.De a humble way I quote the master Rufino Tamayo, Oaxaca Mexican painter who sold fruit in their childhood, then chose to paint to sell.

"I regret that the time is so short, it is not enough to do things, I do not reached, the problems of painting are so many that ninety years are not sufficient to achieve as one would like, I will never retire, it is more, I guess I'll die painting. "

I do not get to be ninety or a joke, but I wish I could paint the rest of my life is my passion .
